GHRP-6 is a peptide made up of six amino acids help together by peptide bonds. It falls into a category of compounds referred to as Growth Hormone Releasing Peptides.
GHRP-6 has shown in research to illicit a potent release of GH. It is a Ghrelin mimetic and acts on the Ghrelin receptor, also known as the Growth Hormone Secretagogue Receptor. Ghrelin is a substance produced in vivo that is responsible for feelings of being hungry as well as potentiating a powerful GH release. Another often overlooked effect of ghrelin is its impact on AKT. This (akt) is responsible for the metabolism of glucose as well as cell development/growth.
As noted above there are several effects that GHRP-6 exerts that make it extremely appealing for use in our research. Many researchers use it to enhance the appetite of their research subjects. While the benefits of the potent GHrelease are obvious, as well as the benefits improved glucose metabolism and cell growth may provide ‚ the importance of these factors cannot be overstated.
It should be stated many researchers have found that combining a GHRP (ie: GHRP-6) with a GHRH (ie: CJC-1293) provides a synergistic boost of GH release in their research subjects. What does that mean? Well the 2 types on compounds together illict a much greater GH release than if you added the individual release each creates when administered alone! This “stacking‚ concept is not new but cannot be emphasized enough.
GHRP-6 creates a potent GH release along with other added benefits that make it extremely attractive for our research purposes. Combine it with a GHRH like CJC-1293 and it becomes not only attractive, but almost unbeatable!!
